To get started, go to the SEO editor page. The wizard will appear and will guide you through the configuration and text optimization. Click on the CREATE NEW OPTIMIZATION button and let’s get started!
The first thing you will need to do is choose the keyword. Not sure which one to choose? Don’t worry: SEO editor will guide you with suggestions. You will only have to write the topic to immediately display the suggested keywords with their data.
In our case, we type the keyword “Apple laptops”:
Among those suggested, there is “Apple laptop refurbished”, which compared to our first choice has a lower difficulty:
We click on “next, and we move on to the related keywords: we can choose more than one, simply by clicking on add. To delete it, just click on the X next to the selected word. As you can see, you will be able to see in real time the number of monthly searches that these keywords will bring.
All done! Now it’s time to write!
A good article can be seen from the title. Moreover, it is the first thing that your public will read in the Google SERP, the one that must convince it to click on our link!
There are many strategies for creating an SEO Friendly title: it must be short and at the same time able to attract the reader’s attention. Furthermore, it must be consistent both with the keyword you chose and representative of the article (it would make no sense to write “Refurbished Dell computers” if in the article you dealt about Apple computers, it is not useful for the reader and Google notices it!
Regarding the form, the title can be descriptive (“Refurbished Apple laptops: here are the best stores”), have the form of a guide (“how to buy refurbished Apple laptops”), list (“the ten sites where to find the cheapest refurbished Apple laptops “) etc.
In this case, we opted for a descriptive title. The SEO Editor will tell us with his green check that it is an optimized title.
Immediately below the title field, you will have the toolbar. Here you will find all the tools necessary to create and modify the contents that will make up your article.
Keyword search tips
First, you will have the possibility to add more keywords to your article.
Furthermore, in the keyword column, clicking on the graph next to the keyword we are interested in we can decide whether to <h3><span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Keyword search tips </span></h3>.
Image search tips
By clicking on the arrow instead, you can search for images that are consistent with the keywords you need and download them.
By clicking on the “insert image” button you can add visual content to your article. In this case, too, the SEO Editor will help you insert the best images and optimize them for search engines.
The form in which to insert the image link will appear. As we have already said, the “images” tab that can be activated to the left of the text area, allows you to get images from a keyword. Just click on the cloud icon to open the link to the image. All you have to do is copy it from your browser and paste it in the URL field in the image entry form.
Then enter the description (consistent with the image!) and, if you want, even the width in pixels.
View HTML code
By clicking on the angular brackets (< >) you will be able to view and edit the HTML code of the page, for more versatile editing if you know the language.
By clicking on the ¶ symbol you can choose the type of formatting. You can then write a paragraph, a quote or a heading (from H1 to H4). All these elements are very useful to give structure to the article and are fundamental from the SEO point of view.
As you can see on the image above, on the right you will be able to see how the organization of the content is constantly monitored by SEO Editor, which will allow you in real time to evaluate the optimization of your content for search engines. Near the classic bold-italic-underlined buttons, you will find the button to add and remove links. To add a link, simply highlight the text and click on the appropriate button. By doing this, you can choose to create or delete a link:
By clicking on “insert link”, this form will appear:
then just enter the URL. Change the link text if you want to, and then enter the title. Remember that the title, from an SEO perspective, must be consistent with what the visitor will find by clicking on that link.
To the right of the text area we can activate two tabs.
The SEO tab, as already mentioned, analyzes the performance of your text from the point of view of search engine optimization. You can also expand each item to see tips for improving text optimization.
In the Tab “Words” you can instead display which words are present in the text or how often. Also, you will see how and how much the secondary keywords are used.
