Choose SERP
The first thing you’ll see using the SERP Checker is the SERP Configurator. Here, you can choose the query you want to spy on your competitors for and for which SERP.
Enter keyword
First of all, enter the keyword you want to compete for. Hopefully, you’ve found the right one using our Keyword Explorer and following our keyword research guidelines.
Select Search Engine
The second thing you need to do is choose the search engine for which you want to check the SERP.
You can choose between Google, Yahoo, Bing, or Yandex.
Choose device
Then, you can select whether to analyze a SERP on a desktop or mobile device. Just click on the computer icon to choose your favorite platform.
Select country
Also, you’ll have to choose the location from which your target audience would perform the SERP. Click on the flag and select the country on the drop-down menu.
Choose the aspect you want to analyze
Finally, you have to choose the aspect you want to analyze. Just click either on Backlinks, Copywriting, or Social. If you’re undecided, don’t worry! You can always switch from one aspect to the other at any moment.
Backlinks
Here you’ll analyze the keyword difficulty, the number of inbound links for each result within the SERP, the domain and page authority, and the click-through rate. Go to the guide.
Copywriting
On this screen, for each result, you’ll be able to see the number of languages your competition’s content is translated into and all the metrics you can see on the copy metrics. Go to the guide.
Social
Here you’ll be able to see how your competitors’ content is performing on the social networks. You can see at a glance the number of shares, comments, and reactions for every result within the SERP. Go to the guide.
